Land Information Systems must provide for effective public access to land information in a transparent manner. Widely available and reliable information is a prerequisite for the development of a free market in land exchange. Integrated graphic and non-graphic data with detailed information at the parcel level must be the core data for such a delivery system in order to serve the needs of both the individual and the community at large.
